GRILLS
Why buy a grill?
Grills add a great cosmetic touch to your car, separating it from the other stock, basic cars on the road. There are several styles of grills available.
Are there different types of grills? If so, what are they?
Yes, there are several different types of grills. The most popular grill is the type that replaces your factory grill with something custom and different. The other major type of grill is the grill that is used on body kits, which is normally an aluminum diamond-shaped mesh material that is attached to the body kit bumpers directly.
How do you install a grill?
There are three types of grilles available on the market that you can use to replace your factory grill. The first would be the bolt-over grills that install over your factory grill insert with no cutting, drilling or modifications of any kind needed. All hardware is included. The second type of grill is a cutout grill, which involves removing your factory insert and replacing it with the grill insert of your choice. Installation of these is easy enough for most handy do-it-yourselfers to handle; otherwise, simply take it to a local body shop - cutting and/or drilling might be required. All hardware is included. The third type of grill is the grill mesh you use on a body kit. This is attached to your body kit bumpers using bondo or a similar adhesive agent that will adhere to the body kit. It is attached to the inside of the bumper.
