Mercedes, one of the world's largest luxury car manufacturer have launched a new kind of Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) that offers space and comfort of an MPV coupled with refinement and driving dynamics of a saloon car. This new vehicle, named as Mercedes R class in India is going to be the only car in this segment and has ample opportunity to carve out a niche for itself.

This new Mercedes R class features a 3498cc V6 petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 272bhp at 6000rpm and a maximum torque of about 35.7Nm at 2400rpm. It does the 0-100 sprint in 8.4 seconds and has a top speed of 230kph. Nothing yet is decided about the diesel variant of Mercedes R class for the Indian market.

This new Mercedes R class, which is an all-wheel-drive automatic, comes with Mercedes' latest generation 7G-Tronic automatic transmission. It has the shift paddles placed on the steering wheel while a Direct Select lever is on the steering column. This new MPV, which can seat upto seven people has redone front grille, headlights, bonnet and wings in it.

Some of the notable features that this new Mercedes R class offers are bi-xenon headlamps, steel spring suspension in front and AIRmatic (Adaptive Intelligent Ride control) system featuring self-levelling air suspension in the rear. It also features a leather-covered tilt and telescopic steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control and a choice of high gloss wood trims, command system with an in-dash six-disc CD/DVD changer, eight-inch screens for the rear passengers, a DVD player and wireless headphones etc.

This new Mercedes R class in India, is expected to be priced around Rs 60 lakhs.

This new sedan, Chevrolet Sail features a 1399 cc, 4 Cylinder in-line Petrol engine that will provide a maximum power of about 94 Bhp and a maximum torque of about 129 Nm. Any official details regarding the mileage and the top-speed of the vehicle is not yet released and also, currently there is no chance for it's diesel variant to reach here on the Indian roads.

Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company, also the world's sixth-largest automobile company are all set to launch a new Next "i-series" hatch for the indian market after Hyundai i10 and i20, and it is named as Hyundai i30 Magna. This new Hyundai i30 Magna, which is a small family car, is expected to reach here by the early 2011. In short, this new Hyundai i30 Magna is dynamically stylish, invitingly spacious and totally practical.

This new Hatchback model Hyundai i30 Magna, which belongs to the B+ segment in the Indian market measures 4,245 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,480 mm high. Also a wheelbase of 2,650 mm offers significant interior space for a vehicle of this size. Total luggage space is 340 liters with the rear seats upright. Some of the notable features in this new Hatchback, Hyundai i30 Magna are dual front, side, and curtain airbags, active headrests, seatbelt pretensioning and seatbelt reminders.

This new Hyundai i30 Magna features a 1396cc, 4 Cyl DOHC Petrol Engine which will provide a Maximum power of 107.5 Bhp @ 6200 rpm and a Maximum torque of 137.2 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Hyundai will offer a variety of diesel and gasoline engines with the i30, ranging from 90 to 140 horsepower. A choice of either an automatic transmission to a five-speed all-synchro gearbox will also be offered.

This new Hyundai i30 Magna provides a top-speed of about 187 kms and it will take only about 12.60 secs to acclerate from 0 to 60 kms. This new Hatchback from Hyundai, i30 Magna will provide a mileage of around 12 kmpl in the highways and around 9 kmpl in the cities. It should be noted that the suspension used in this car is Independent MacPherson Strut.

Hyundai i30 Magna will be priced between 9 to 12 lakh INR ex-showroom.

Early this year, Japan's third largest automaker Nissan Motor Co. have launched their very popular compact car model Micra in Indian automobile market and now they have come up with it's Diesel variant also. Volkswagen group have introduced their new sedan for the Indian automobile field in the C+ segment and is named as Volkswagen Vento.

This new Volkswagen Vento features a 1598cc, 4 Cylinder, 8 Valve Petrol engine which will produce a Maximum Power of 105 Bhp @ 5250 rpm and also a Maximum torque of 153 Nm @ 3800 rpm. This new Sedan will provide a mileage of around 12 in the cities and around 16 in the highway. This new Volkswagen Sedan, Vento features a Suspension struts, wishbone, Anti-roll bar Suspension in it.

This new Volkswagen Vento is also equipped with the 1.6 litre Diesel engine, also with an output of 105PS @ 4400 rpm and a Torque of 250 NM @ 1500-2500 rpm and has a fuel efficiency of 20.54 Km/l. It is also paired with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gear box.

Volkswagen releases its latest top-class conertible coupe 2012 Volkswagen Eos which has been unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The deadly powerful Volkswagen Eos 2012 will be available for a starting price of around $33,710. Here we are discussing about the technical features of 2012 Volkswagen Eos Convertible Coupe.

2012 Volkswagen Eos Luxury Convertible Coupe comes powered with either a 2 liter engine turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 2.0-liter diesel engine. The Volkswagen Eos with the 2.0 liter engine turbocharged four-cylinder engine produce 208-horsepower and the 2.0 liter diesel engine offers 138-hp power. Both the engines comes mated with a six-speed manual gear transmission. The 2012 Volkswagen Eos offers a Fuel Mileage of around 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The top-speed of the 2012 Volkswagen Eos is around 238 km/h with the first engine and 198 km/h with the second engine.

Other 2012 Volkswagen Eos features include bi-Xenon or halogen headlamp which is integrated with LED lights, Vienna leather upholstery, 17-inch Barcelona Alloy wheels, hot seat, fog lamps, Bluetooth connectivity and parking sensors.
